WORK AND TURN
It is very common for printers using TC-90 Series to print, back up, varnish, cut, fold and deliver all on the same day. However, care must be taken to watch out for unusual acidity of fountain solution and paper stock, amount of water supplied to plate, and other conditions that may affect drying of ink.

WATER
  1. PH 4.4-5.6 (for best setting).
  2. Conductivity 800-1200 micro/ohm (for best setting).
  3. Use of Alcohol and /or Substitutes: TC-90 Series prints better with less or no alcohol.
A maximum of 5-7% alcohol is recommended. TC-90 Series works with alcohol substitute just as well.

SPECIAL DAMPENING SYSTEM
Crestline/Kompac/or any other continuous water system on small to medium size machines, use medium tack or high tack ink.

HEATER (I.R. DRYER OR HOT AIR DRYER)
For heavy coverage, if you have a drier be safe and use it. For normal coverage turn the heater off, TC-90 Series dries just as fast with or without heat (when water condition and/or
environmental conditions are right).

SPRAY POWDER AND RACKING BOARDS
  1. At the beginning of the run, turn the spray powder to about 1/2 to 1/3 of the normal amount.
  2. Turn spray powder off altogether when the setting of ink is felt to be O.K.
  3. Try loading without the use of racking boards after the fast set up of TC-90 Series is appreciated.
